A few days before the Chinese New Year, my missus went shopping and came home, not with one but THREE of this…

I guess that 8+8 thing is supposed to bring double good fortune and prosperity but RM11.00 for that? Good grief!!!
Inside, you will find two packs of Kit Kats…

…with 8 minis…

…in each of them.
Personally, I do not think those plastic containers…

…are a sight to behold and what’s worse, you can’t use them to store food…

As we all know, plastic should not be used for that purpose especially when the food is hot. That, of course, means that using it as a bento or lunch box is totally out of the question. I reckon that if one has school-going kids, they can use these as a pencil box/case instead.
I remember back in the late 70’s, there was this company, Kandos, that came out with what they called Crispy – chocolate bars with rice bubbles wrapped inside and boy, it sure was love at first bite. I think I bought 10 and took them with me into the cinema to watch a movie…and I ate all of them at one go! Well, chocolate is “heaty” and I came down with a fever right after that, lesson learnt!
In this case, the ones inside the pack…

…are rather small so I was thinking that it wouldn’t be so bad for my low-sugar diet if I just had ONE or rather two conjoined ones and that was what I did!
No, I did not think it was nice, nothing more than just a wafer inside plus it was so very sweet!!! Forgive me for I have sinned – I shall not do it again and that’s a promise! LOL!!!
I tried the ice cream, this one…

…and this one too…

…sometime ago and no, they did not really sweep me off my feet.
I do recall that I did enjoy their Japanese green tea Kit Kat…

…that a friend gave to me once but I do not remember whether it was all that sweet too or not. Anyway, at my age, I reckon there are things that I can live without…for my own good.
