New favourite…

I said I would go back to give hers (RM6.00)…

Happy Hours mee sua 1

…a try, that time when I stopped by for her fried kway teow. In the meantime, I went back there but I had the Sarawak laksa and the nasi lemak from the stall next to it instead.

Well, that day, I needed a new photograph of our Foochow longevity noodles for my birthday post so I decided I would go there…

Happy Hours, Rejang Park

…to see if hers would be photogenic enough or not.

I was delighted because there was nobody sitting on this side because of the morning sun. There  were some customers on the other side, not many but there were a few. Well, it was mid-morning and it wasn’t that hot already so I decided to sit there.

My order came soon enough…

Happy Hours mee sua 2

I tasted it and it sure swept me off my feet! There was this very strong taste of good quality traditional Foochow red wine and she certainly was very generous with the ginger – I absolutely enjoyed it, my new favourite, I must say and I sure would be making my way there again for more.

HAPPY HOURS CAFE (2.307165, 111.837312) is located at one corner of the Rejang Park shops/commercial centre in that residential area, beside the volleyball stadium and the surau, facing the vast parking area there.
