White rabbit…

In my previous post, I mentioned that after our dinner, we adjourned next door…

…for dessert.

This is not a very big place, always very full so now they have extended to include the floor upstairs…

…as well.

Actually, another reason why I wanted to drop by was because my friend, Annie, in KL was raving about the White Rabbit ice cream she had there and when she was here the other day, much to her surprise, she was delighted to see that they have the White Rabbit gelato…

…here. I sampled a bit but it didn’t exactly turn me on and since all of us were not into gelato that day, we decided to go for something else instead.

My girl wanted the tiramisu mille crepe (RM9.00)…

…and yes, it was very good, as good as I could remember it to be but the rum and raisin mille crepe (RM7.80)…

…that we also ordered seemed to pale in comparison with what we used to have a long time ago. This one was not that strong on the rum and raisin flavour that we used to like a lot.

I saw that they had burgers so I ordered one, their black beef burger (RM11.00)…

…to try. That certainly spoke volumes about how filling the dinner we had earlier was. There were a few other types of burgers, all charcoal bun, and even for this one, one could choose to add this and that but I was quite happy the way it was.

I liked that piece of parmesan crisp and there was some melted cheese on the very nice freshly-made beef patty and I spotted some caramelised onions underneath the meat…

I had half of it and the ladies has a quarter each and we all came to the general consensus that it was very nice…for a burger, nicer than others elsewhere including this one, the bun especially.
