I was in the vicinity of the junction of this lane…
…and Lanang Road, not far from this leading hotel in town…
…waiting for something to be done.
In the meantime, I walked around the area and decided to drop by here…
…for breakfast…
The coffee was good (RM1.70)…
…pretty much the same as many around town and so was the kampua mee (RM2.80)…
I ordered a small bowl of the pian sip (meat dumplings) soup (RM2.00)…
…to go with it but this is not one of those places where they would take the skin one by one and roll it till very thin so once cooked, the pian sip skin would be very smooth and translucent, really nice. Thankfully, it wasn’t chewy and rubbery…
…like one that I had had the displeasure of having once but I did think it could do with a little less msg.
Well, should I happen to be around those parts again and feel like having a bite to eat, I sure would not mind going back for the noodles but not the dumplings.
