I dropped by the mall near my house again the other day, the one with the somewhat minimal Christmas decoration but this time around, I was pleasantly surprised to see this house…
…there and this was what it looked like inside…
That sure was a welcome addition to the solitary Christmas tree, the cardboard cut-out snowmen and the rest…
…and I did see some people happily taking selfies and wefies of themselves with this in the background.
It was that very same day that the poslaju van stopped outside my house to deliver this…
…from my blogger friend, Phong Hong.
I certainly would agree with this…
– people who love 2 eat are always the best people. Aren’t we all? Wink! Wink!
Inside, she had gone through all that trouble to so very generously send me these awesome bacon products…
…and a very lovely Christmas card. Yes, that’s right! Bacon! I have yet to try any of the three but if it’s bacon, I am pretty sure that they’re going to be good!
Thank you so very much, Phong Hong. Sorry, I didn’t send you anything but no worries, should I happen to come across anything here that can be sent and is worth sending, I will most certainly do that. A Blessed Christmas to you and all your loved ones. Cheers!!!
I absolutely love this post and photos!
Glad that you do. π
I’ve never seen bacon jam; wonder if it’s sweet or savoury.
I don’t know, haven’t tried yet but my guess is it is going to be sweet and thick with a little salty taste from the bits of bacon, something like acar, maybe.
Nice decoration & I love the wordings on the box…Open your box before your mouth.
Nice box, love the packaging.
I like the room decor. Something different from the tree decor.
Nice of PH to send you the goodies.
Merry Christmas to you and family.
Yes, I thought it was very nicely done – had the mood…and yes, very nice of PH to go through all that trouble.
Hubby will be home for Christmas, I guess. Sunday, so Monday is a holiday? Merry Christmas to you all too.
U didn’t selfie with the Christmas decoration?
How? If I stand in front, you can’t see the whole thing liao. π
Very nice decoration especially with your snow flakes falling at the background as well… and of course the greatest gift for Christmas is the Poslaju box! π
Indeed! One reason why I love Christmas…cards and presents from ones so dear! π
Oh! hee..hee..hee.. Don’t worry about sending me anything! I still have those Sarawak Laksa and Masak Hitam paste to keep me company for awhile. I also bought these bacon products for myself and so far I tried the Angry Bacon and I must say I was very impressed. Remember to take it out from the fridge about 1/2 hour to an hour or so before serving/heating up because it is hard like stone after staying in the fridge. Hope you, your Mrs and Melissa try the bacony goodies soon.
So the Angry Bacon is good eh? Have to heat up before eating, even the jam? I just bought one mini baguette, going to try the jam for breakfast tomorrow morning. Since we are on a gluten-free diet at home, no bread, no crackers so I have not had the chance to try it yet.
I’m curious as to what you’re planning to do with that bacon jam? Put it on bread?
I haven’t the slightest idea but since it’s jam, I guess it should go with bread…or crackers?
There’s a mall nearby your house ?! What’s good inside? Any delicious brands? π
When it first opened, I heard that was the intention but they were not able to get the big brands to come in. In the end, it’s something like your Prangin Mall. Popular is there, Sen-Q…and there’s Hush Puppies and one nice western restaurant…Gintell or one of those…and KFC. There’s a big supermarket – if you want to buy Singapore products like the Prima Taste stuff, this is the one to go too, and a range of Korean and other imported stuff too.
Bacon jam and Sambal! You’re so going to love that!!! Phong Hong picked the perfect gift for you – she’s so nice! π
She is, isn’t she? You’ve tried the jam? Any good?
four more days… four more dAYS.. ho ho ho.. merry christmas !!
Counting…
