Sweet sweet…

After our dinner that night, we adjourned here for dessert. Business sure looked pretty good…

At Nica

…I must say. We went for dinner at around 6.oo p.m. to avoid the crowd and the jam. I was sure there would be a lot of people and traffic jams everywhere as many would have come home for the election and also to celebrate Mother’s Day with their mums here. It was still early, just past 7, and I thought everyone would still be at their dinner table but to my surprise, there were quite a lot of people here already.

Too bad they did not have the sour sop that I enjoyed so much the previous time I was here so my missus had the one that she liked when she was here last, the banana, while my girl had the cream cheese and the strawberry (RM12.80)…

I tried the cream cheese and yes, I thought it was very nice too and so was the strawberry.

I ordered the coffee mille crepe (RM9.60)…

…but I would say I prefer some of the those that they have had for a while now – the tiramisu or the rum and raisin, for instance.

I did not know what it was but my girl said she had it in New Zealand and it was very nice and she insisted that I ordered that to try – the chai latte (RM9.90)…

If I am not wrong, it is some kind of tea and at first sip, I thought it had a somewhat unique taste, something that would need a little getting used to but from the second sip onwards, it sort of grew on me and yes, I enjoyed it very much. Ok, so now I’ve tried and I know what it is – who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks? Hehehehehe!!!

They have some new creations now like these artisan premium cones (RM12.80 each)…

…and these gelatus sticks (RM9.90)…

…but we did not order those to try.

I would say that was literally a sweet ending to a delightful day, my missus’ birthday, and we sure were glad that our girl could come back the later part of that day to join in our little simple celebration.
