Try it, you’ll like it…

After the Sunday service that day, I took my girl here to try the beef noodles that I enjoyed a lot and I was very sure that she would like it too.

I was going to order something else as I just had that a few days earlier and I thought of having something different for a change. However, the lady asked me if I wanted the special (RM8.00)…

…and I thought that I might as well have that to see what goodies they had in store…

Well, there wasn’t anything much actually, just the tripe…

…along with the beef…

…and everything else. I wish they had the tendons as well but there were none.

My girl and the mum (who refused to try it that day when I did) both had the regular, the RM6.00 a bowl and yes, they liked it a lot. I think I would just stick to that too the next time around and do without the tripe and save RM2.00 but if I am not mistaken, they have the dry version as well. Perhaps I should try that. I did sample the one here but I would not say that I liked it a lot.

So that was our brunch and for tea, I made these pancakes…

…following our usual recipe except that I substituted the sugar with brown sugar that I found sitting in the pantry. My girl loved it and kept going back for more and needless to say, that pleased me a lot.

Well, those were enough to help tide us over till dinner…and that will be in the next post. Stick around for that!
