We had something like this before…

…when the guy was still working at the old place, his honey chicken wings, and they were priced at RM9.50 then but here, they were going for only RM8.50 for 3. I certainly am glad to see that he is slowly adding things to his menu, things that probably were very popular before and now that he is running his own place here, he can offer them at comparatively more competitive prices.

We did not have any plans to go anywhere special for lunch last Saturday so we decided to just stop by on our way home for a bite to eat. My missus asked for the fried noodles (RM4.00)…

…with a special request for it to be extra spicy and she liked it.

My girl wanted the nasi lemak and I ordered for her the one with a chicken wing (RM6.00)…

…as she was not all that keen on the curry or the masak hitam. It did not occur to me then but I could have ordered the regular nasi lemak (RM4.00) for her and she could have the aforementioned honey wings with it. After all, a fried chicken wing is a fried chicken wing – can’t really expect anything much from that. She loved the sambal which she thought was really good.

I ordered the nasi lemak special, masak hitam beef (RM7.00)…

…for myself and I did let my girl try a little bit of the beef and she thought that was nice too.

After having had our fill, we headed back to the house which is just around the corner. How convenient!
