The old songs…

We went to this mall the other day and I noticed that the Christmas decorations were up as well…

…but they were kind of simple and minimal, nothing much to shout about. Ah well, something is better than nothing, I guess.

Actually, I had dropped by the place earlier in the morning for a hair cut and shampoo and I bought this cd…

…at a shop there. I played it when I got home and I loved it so much that I decided to go back and grab the other one available to give away as a Christmas present to somebody.

The second time around, my girl and missus came with me and we decided to stop by the outlet of this place here for the ang tao peng

…which was as good as ever…

My missus wanted their cendol so I ordered the cendol and rojak

…set for her, for RM7.20. The latter was quite a big plate…

…and enough for the three of us to share but I noticed that it did not have any pineapples in it. My missus said that currently, there is a shortage of pineapples as many people are already buying to make jam for their pineapple tarts for Chinese New Year.

This outlet is very small, not as big as the one we usually go to, opposite Sacred Heart School, and I did not know until that day that it is, in fact, pork-free…

…so you will not get any kampua noodles or pian sip here, and maybe no kompia stuffed with minced meat either. Still, it was very packed when we went that day and many were going there for their very nice Sarawak laksa plus this one, being in a mall, is air-conditioned as well.
