My very dear friend, Jimmy, has left us.
He was always jovial, always happy. He was always a joy to have around and we will miss his infectious laughter.
He was kind, always generous and so very loving and caring and to me, he was more than a friend – he was like a brother, a son.
He was on his way back to Serian early Sunday morning, 16th February, 2014, at around 5.00 a.m. to attend the church service there with his parents when he was involved in a tragic self-accident.
His funeral will be held this morning at 10.00 a.m. at St Theresa’s Church, Serian.
Words cannot express the profound sorrow that my family and I feel at the loss of one loved so dearly and who had so much love to give but had to leave so soon, too soon. Let us all say a little prayer today for him, may God bless his soul and eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, may he rest in peace.
Goodbye, Jimmy, goodbye…
So sorry for the loss of your friend!
Thanks. This is a very very sad time in my life… 😦
So sorry to hear that, may Jimmy rest in peace….
Amen.
I saw when you wrote about this on Facebook. You’ve mentioned Jimmy on your site now and again. It’s painful to lose those we love, isn’t it? We’re bombarded with emotions and the memories shared play through our minds repeatedly. I guess that’s one way we hold on to them, besides looking at the physical mementos we might have such as pictures, or items that they might have had. I pray that you and all his loved ones find peace during this time and that Christ helps you remember all the fond memories that you shared together. I pray that his spirit continues to live on through all of you.
Gods blessings and comfort to all of you!
Thanks, Opal. We certainly will remember all the happy times that we shared – he will live on forever in our hearts.
So sad to hear about this news. Btw is this Jimmy, any chance a Jimmy Then? Because my friend in fb was talking about him on same day.
Nevertheless, may your friend Jimmy rest in peace. God bless his soul.
That’s him. You know him too? Yes, may he rest in peace.

Was sadden when i read about your post in FB…
It was so very sad indeed, but knowing the kind of person he was, I am sure he would not want anyone to be so – he was always happy, a delight to have around.
So sorry for your loss of someone who’s so very dear to you ……. ” Heavenly Father, may Jimmy rest in you…..Amen”
Thanks. Amen.
Yes, when one goes away at a young age, we feel sad.. only assurance is He is a better place now… goodbye to him here on earth.. and meet again in heaven..
Yes, he was oo young and I am sad also that for someone so good, he had to come to such an unpleasant end. Cruel, just too cruel.
This is a sad news.. We are never prepared for this kind of situation. May he rest in peace. Condolence to his family…
Thanks. Who knows what tomorrow may bring. 😦
sorry for your loss
Thanks.
Sorry to hear that!!! May he RIP!!!!
Amen.
This is just so sad 😦 RIP
Very, so very very sad.
Sorry to hear about this, may your friend rest in peace.
It’s not easy to get over a friend, or a family’s passing, but life goes on, we got to stay strong. Take it easy ya!
Thanks. The tears will dry, the pain will lesson…but the memories will forever remain. He will live on in our hearts.
Condolences, Arthur. I read ur blogpost on his wedding and that was just last year’s September, oh dear..
Nope, that’s not the one. Click the links, you can see his photo in one of them. This one is the friend who made the nicest cakes…and the one who would make sure I would be well-stocked with tempoyak, cincaluk and belacan when he was in Bintulu. Not my ex-student, a truly wonderful friend.
Sorry for the mix-up! =.=
It’s ok – I never use surnames, so not surprised that you got confused.
Read some of the comments, he really sounded like a wonderful person. I’m so sorry for ur loss, Arthur..
Thanks. He most certainly was… 😦
deepest condolences on this terrible loss 😦
Thanks.
Like what i said, i don’t know him, but i get to know about him through your blog, he bake nice cakes, had a very neat home and recently he just sent you tempoyak with a very unique packaging made by himself. Sad and may he rest in peace and deepest condolence to the family and you take care too.
Thanks. Yes, and if you know him in person, you would love him too – such a cheerful, delightful person…always happy and laughing and ever kind and loving. Can’t believe he’s gone…so soon.
I learned about his demise from your Facebook. Though I dont know him but it’s obvious he is loved by many. My deepest condolence to you and his family.
Thank you.
I was just commenting to a friend that morning about Jimmy deactivating his Facebook when later another friend told us that he had passed away. It was a terrible shock. I shall treasure the recipes he shared with me. I only knew him through Facebook but he was so cheerful and generous about sharing his recipes.
Yes, his deactivating his Facebook account remains a mystery…but I guess there are many question that will never be answered now. 😦
So sad of this news. Though I do not personally know Jimmy, I have ‘known’ him through your blog when you mentioned him in your posts and when he left comments on your posts. Isn’t he the guy who can bake very well?
May he rest in peace.
Amen. Yes, that’s the one. I would blog about it everytime he came to town or whenever he sent me something.
It’s unbelievable. I’m still struggling with the thought. He is too young & too talented to go like that. My condolences to you, Arthur. This is too much.
He was like a son. Many thought he was. At courses/seminars, people used to tell him that if he wanted to see what he would look like when old, he could just look at me…but sadly, that is not meant to be. He would never be able to see what he would look like when he grew old now. 😥
Very sorry to hear, may he rest in peace.
Thanks, amen.
That’s really sad…
Sorry to hear the news. My condolences to everyone, may he rest in peace!
Thanks. Been a few days now…but the gloom remains, like a cloud hovering above. 😦
Take care buddy!
Thanks.
Sorry to hear the loss of your good friend. Sometimes will see you writing about him at ur blog. It’s heartbreaking to hear the news.
May he RIP. Take care!
Thank you.
Condolences.
Thanks.
