Chasing the sun…

Nope, we did not have to chase anybody or anything – this coffee shop…

Sunny 1

…has been there all this time and the stall…

Sunny 2

…is obviously enjoying brisk business as I notice that there is always a lot of people eating there.

We’ve been there a few times before and I’ve blogged about it here and also here. Melissa likes eating at this shop because when you order the special, they will give you five prawn fritters like this plate of mee jawa special (RM4.50), for instance…

…and she enjoys those fritters a lot. The biasa (ordinary) is RM3.50 so that means that an additional RM1.00 will get you the extras and it works out to only 20 sen each. Gee!!! I think that is very cheap, don’t you?

I decided to try the mee goreng (fried noodles) special…

…and it also came with those prawn fritters and it certainly looked good. Seeing that, Melissa had a change of heart and wanted the fried noodles instead of the mee jawa…so I ended up eating that instead. It was fine by me, really…as I do like their mee jawa – I tried their mee Hongkong once but it did not tickle my fancy  even though I do know of people who keep going back there for that. Well, as I always say, to each his own and what I like, others may not and vice versa.

Whatever it is, we will definitely go back there again sometime, considering that what they serve here is on the whole, pretty good…and if anyone is interested in giving it a try, it is in Sungai Antu, opposite the Sibu RTM station, directly behind where Courts Mammoth formerly was and facing the old site of the Sibu trans-Sarawak bus terminal which has since moved as well to its present location.
