Time flies…

I went out shopping with my daughter and missus yesterday afternoon and we stopped by this mall in town…

…and lo and behold! The Christmas decorations are up!!! Gee! It’s only November, and just a day after Deepavali. Time really flies, doesn’t it? Before we know it, any year would have gone by and we’ll be starting a brand new year…

They were playing all the Christmas hymns and songs too, Joy to the world and all those…to get everybody in the mood…

The postman dropped by my house again…

…to deliver something that [SK] had sent me.

I mentioned in an earlier post about how the readers of his blog would comment on his posts and every month, he would give away prizes to the top 3. Well, I won the “bronze” prize once so I reckon that means that I was in 3rd place and then I got in 2nd for the month of September. No prize for guessing who’s Numero Uno for the month of October!  Yes, yours truly is the champion and that is why [SK] was sending me a prize…AGAIN!

It depends on how you would put it – whether he is a very careful person…or rather fastidious as he glued down the flap of the envelope so well…

…that it was virtually impossible to open!

I had to use the other end – the factory-sealed side…

…and poke a pen through a gap and tear to open the envelope.

…with Playboy bunny ears and a powder-puff tail to match! Hmmmm….you like that photo so much, [SK]? LOL!!!

Ooooo….I’m special, [SK]? Hmmmmm!!! Well, you’re not the only one who feels that way, I’m afraid so you’ll just have to take a number like the rest of them. Muahahahahahaha!!!!!!

Well, actually I went on a commenting spree just to prove that one can get what one wants if one puts one’s heart to it. I was 3rd, then 2nd…and I said that I would work my way right to the top and then “retire”. Well, I have done just that – it just goes to show that with determination and perseverance, most anything may be possible…
