My missus and I stopped by this place last Sunday after the evening service in church as I wanted to make reservations of the coming weekend when my daughter would be home for the holidays and my blogger-friends from the peninsula would be in town…and since we were there, we decided to have dinner before going home.
On my last visit, I saw many people eating this…
…and I was wondering what it was. It turned out to be their own-made tofu served with all the ingredients and sauce. Perhaps it is all right for many people but not for me. I thought it was quite bland and not something I would want to order again. A much better choice would be the ones here.
Thankfully, the kangkong (water spinach) fried with belacan (dried prawn paste)…
…was great and the gravy certainly went well with the rice.
I have not had their fried chicken for a while now so I decided to order that…
…and of course, it was nice…and anytime a whole lot better than those from that fast food chain.
Dinner wasn’t cheap though. With rice and drinks for two, the bill came up to RM28.00. I guess it is cheaper if there are more people…say, 3 or 4 persons and you order servings for 2 only – there would be more than enough to go round and it would not be so expensive this way.
