…and based on the information on their website, it only costs RM5.00 each! That, I must say, is very cheap as it is big and they’re very generous with the meat filling. On the whole, I would say it is pretty good.

Yes, the names are derived from places in New Zealand, it seems. The proprietor is a retired accountant and according to him, “…I was “hooked” on pies during my days in New Zealand. While on travel during work, I enjoyed consuming Kiwi pies on a very regular basis!…However, on my frequent visits back to Malaysia, I found to my dismay that you not only cannot get a good pie but it also costs ‘an arm or a leg’ to get one! That was when it dawned on me that there might be an opportunity to start a business venture to manufacture and market pies…”
