I love it when it rains…
The grass looks greener, everything looks so fresh…and even the air feels so cool and clean.
Of course, there may be a bit of inconvenience if one has to go out into the rain…
The car will get all dirty and that means you will have to wash it or pay to get it washed. You will need an umbrella and at times, even with that, you may get soaking wet…
…and traffic may be heavier than usual but one consoling fact is that the jams here are not as horrendous as those in KL!
At times, the wind may be strong but thankfully, we are spared of typhoons and hurricanes…and the fierce winds that are experienced in other parts of the world. There may be floods too but what we have here is really child’s play compared to those elsewhere – like those recent ones in Queensland, Australia, for instance.
Rain brings water and water brings life…but people always complain – when it is raining, they will complain and when it is hot, they will also complain. Shouldn’t we be counting our blessings always and be thankful for the rain and also for the sunshine each passing day?
