Win or lose…

Well, unfortunately, I did not win the Year-end Christmas Giveaway contest in this blog. Some people have all the luck and I just did not seem to have any at all. There were 7 prizes…and 7 winners but I was not one of them. Sobs!

But what a pleasant surprise it was to hear that I would be getting something after all. It appeared that a very kind and generous blogger who won a prize instructed that it be sent to me…

…and knowing how our Pos Malaysia snail mail works, the parcel that was sent to me on the 3rd of January took 10 days to arrive – on the 13th. Thanks to the blogger concerned who does not wish to be named (but if you click the link to the blogpost, you will see who it is! Hehehehehe!!!) and also to witch for going through all the trouble of sending that  to me.

So, now I do have a bottle of champagne…but unfortunately, I do not have the glasses to use to drink it.  Yes, [SK]? Hint! Hint! Muahahahaha!!!!

And talking about the poor postal service around here (despite the fact that they have doubled the postal charges not too long ago), I also received a Christmas card late (a few days after Christmas Day) from a very nice lady blogger-friend of mine who enclosed this special souvenir from Korea for me in the mail…

I’m sure many of you would have read about her recent holiday there and I must say that it certainly was so sweet of her to remember her friends while on holiday and to take the trouble to send to each and everyone of us. Thanks so much, Claire…
