Look what I found…

I had the whole week off last week as the tuition centre that I’m presently attached to was having its one-week mid-year break…and I decided to use the time to try and clear up a bit of the mess in the house. I went through the kitchen cabinets, sorting out the stuff, dusting, wiping and cleaning and throwing away the junk…and in the process of doing all that, I found this…

I remember that time when my daughter and I were browsing around the 100% Discount Store in Salim (near Farley) and we stumbled upon this. I don’t know why but she likes green frogs…and anything green when it comes to her clothes, bags and what not. We thought it looked real cute, so we bought it…but I think we only used that once – to make ice lollies.

Then I found my little stainless steel pot…

It is just about the size of a mug and would be ideal if you want to boil two eggs…or heat up some leftover that is not of a substantial amount.

I bought it in a set of three – small, medium, large…

…at this member-only catalogue shop, Giacomo and as far as I can remember, it was really cheap – maybe around RM15.00 or something like that. I wouldn’t have bought them otherwise.

So that was how I spent my one-week break. Nothing very exciting, eh? Sobs!!!
