This Yan is such a sweet lady. She was on Facebook yesterday morning wondering whether she should buy the frozen prawns home from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. I commented that it should depend on whether her son, Chris, would love eating those or not…and she said that she would be, upon his request, bringing him a pizza from Little Italy…
The next thing I knew, she was flying back to Sibu already at around 3.00 in the afternoon and at around 6, she asked me to drop by her place to pick up some sandwiches that she had bought for me. I rushed to the Aroma Bakery to pick up some of the yummy chicken pies to give to her in return…but when I reached her house, I almost fainted!
She had got me stuff from Little Italy too…lots of it! There was this Puccia di Pollo which was absolutely out of this world…
At first, I thought it did not look that great but when I took a bite, it was a different story altogether. I really loved it heaps!
The other one, the Pizza Bianca…
…was nice because of the ham but a bit salty. I was thinking that perhaps it would be nicer with some pineapples – Hawaiian pizza-style.
Now, if you think that was all, you’re mistaken for she also bought me two of these giant steamed buns…
…but I have not tried them, so I am not able to give my verdict.
Is that it? No…!!! She also gave me these avocados…
Oooo…I love avocados! Cut into halves, remove the seed, pour evaporated milk on it and sprinkle some sugar…and it will be heaven, I tell you!!!
Thanks so much, Yan, for all the stuff. It is indeed so very sweet of you…
