My girl is in Wellington, New Zealand…

Melissa – blowing in the Wellington wind

It certainly looks windy there, doesn’t it?

Well, most of you would know by now that she left Malaysia on the evening of the 8th of February, arriving in NZ the following day on the 9th…

All this while, we have been able to keep in touch via sms using her Malaysian line…and now that she has an NZ number, we can call anytime and talk to one another. Other than that, she’s also connected online, so we can talk and see one another on Skype, chat on Facebook and so on. With all that modern technology right here at our fingertips, she doesn’t seem that far away after all.

I’m glad that she’s settling in nicely and slowly getting used to the place. Here, you can see her touring around the city with her good friend, Soleha and some of her other coursemates…

Oooo…!!! Salmon and swiss mushrooms!!! Two of her favourites…and to end this post, I would like to share with everybody one of the songs that she has always loved…

It’s the first day of Chinese New Year today. I guess everybody’s enjoying themselves and having a whale of a time. My missus and I will be flying home tonight…so those of you who are still around in Sibu, I do hope we can get to see one another over the next few days. Gong Xi Fa Cai once again to one and all…
