In this life…

It has bloomed again – just a month since the last time

Desert Rose 3/1

…late in the night – the third time this year, eight of them altogether…

Desert Rose 3/2

…seven on the 7th of June and one the following night…

Desert Rose 3/3

…even though people say that it will only bloom once a year. So I went and bought 7718…

Desert Rose 3/4

…but unfortunately, it was not meant to be…

Desert Rose 3/5

…and it doesn’t really matter…

…considering all that I’ve been blessed with in this life…and that the only dream that matters has come true…for in this life, I am loved by You.

  1. Amen to that, in some ways, we r truly blessed, though life has its turmoils, we should be thankful for what we r now… as u said in yr earlier post, Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly..
    God bless!!

Thanks, and the same to you too…

    1. Wah this time getting smarter liao. Copy paste from previous post!

But “Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly.” wasn’t said by STP. ROTFLMAO!!!

You two pakat via sms or what? Somehow the two of you remind me of the other “couple”…that have not been seen around lately!

  2. ‘for in this life, I am loved by You.’ don’t have time to check the video yet, but are you referring to your wife? =)

    Note the capital letter “Y”…

  3. Toto 0778 came out I think. Hahahaha!!!

Yup! On Sunday nite – the 7th, 7 bloomed out of 8 = 0778…and 8888 came out too! LOL!!!

    1. Yalor yalor! Was surprised 8888 came out as well. What are the chances, right? My colleague, my friend and my friend’s mom bought my number, didn’t come out. Hahaha!

      They all didn’t have/see the flower… LOL!!!

  4. I saw the exact same flower in my uncle’s house during my granny’s funeral. Was there till late… and yeah, the flower actually bloomed at exactly midnite. So I immediately remembered that this must be the same plant as yours.

Blooming at a funeral? And the flower is supposed to bring good luck. Ah well…I guess when someone passes away peacefully at a ripe old age, it IS good luck. Didn’t hear of her suffering from any serious illness, right?

    1. Nope… very sudden. But like you said, ripe old age of 89 and no suffering. So it is considered good.

I always pray that when it’s time for me to go, I will just drop dead one fine day! Maybe while eating something I love to my heart’s content!!!…The best way to go… Hahahahahaha!

  5. Ouh…you also kaki ekor ar? Ha 😀 What flower is that. Looks like very rare.

You’ll have to click the link on “the last time” to read more about it…and the link in that post to the previous post – you’ll get all the info there. I don’t buy – used to, years ago but not anymore. I think if one wants money, one will just have to work for it. Can’t depend on “luck”.

  6. ever thought of cutting it and taking a bath in its water to wash away bad luck? hehehe.. mandi bunga 😉

That requires petals of flowers of seven colours, buang sial…or that’s what they say!

    1. I think you’ll need a Rafflesia for that. hehehehe

I guess you’re addressing this to TOC, not me? LOL!!! Speak kindly, KNB…speak kindly…

      1. errr……. *making note to send Rafflesia petals to KNB*

Ok, KNB…the ball’s in your court now! LOL!!!

  7. I think this plant of yrs is either on IVF programme like that US gal who had 14babies,very ‘horny’,hormonal or having some menopause syndrome!LOL!

    Hahahahaha!!! Very productive indeed!

  8. Chesh TOC, people mandi bunga to minta kawin lah. Guess STP don’t need that and Sasa is too young!

So better send flower petals to his house and KNB’s too…by lorry! Desperate situations require desperate measures! Hahahahahaha!!!!

    1. Worry not….TOC already sending over the Rafflesia petals. hhahah.

With the stink, I wonder how that can ever work… Minta kawin konon! Hahahahaha!

    2. Ehh.. for you perhaps.. but I remembered that Granny Dimong and Mako used to make me mandi bunga after I recover from fever.. and according to Chamberlain Michael and Diana Ross, mandi bunga for melanaus is to buang sial…

Yes, as far as I know, it is to buang sial…say after an accident or something, they may ask the victim to bathe in the water in which they’ve soaked the petals of flowers of seven colours…

      1. above comments was with regards to Gundot’s comment on mandi bunga in order to minta kawin.. hehehe

Ya, I think the Chinese also have that belief. Wonder where Gundot got hers from… Maybe she just wants to bring up the topic. LOL!!!

  9. The balls have always been on my court! hahahahah
Ok… peace peace. Make love, not war…hehe.

Hahahahaha!!! I get the hint! Make love…??? Eyew!!! LOL!!!

  10. ooh new template…getting used to it still…the font is way too small though..

See reply to previous comment! But I do agree that the font for the commenters’ names are extremely small – but I do not get to see that unless I go and visit the site.
