Congratulations to my neighbour and blogger-friend, Stanleycarter whose wife just gave birth to a baby boy – Darren on the 10th of April, Good Friday. He has published a post on it in his blog and I must say that I was especially touched by the part where he said that he broke down in tears the moment his son was born. That’s one good-looking son you’ve got there, Stanley…and I bet he’s going to grow up to be as handsome as the father. Well, if anybody’s curious, you can hop over to his blog to have a look at the photos…
Actually, I’ve posted this video on Facebook – To a child, love is spelled T-I-M-E and on this special occasion, I would like to share it with everybody here as well. The message is something that all fathers should ponder upon and I love the quotation towards the end: “To the world, you may be just one person…but to one person, you might just be the world.”
Then, there is this other video that I have also shared on Facebook. I was particularly moved by the closing line: “My father was a generous man beyond his means, but the greatest gift he ever gave me was the gift of love…“
Here’s wishing you, Stanley…and your missus and Darren years and years of love and happiness ahead. By the way, when are you inviting me over for “seng-ngang“?
ROTFLMAO!!!
