Trying to hide the pain
I’m going to the place where love
And feeling good don’t ever cost a thing
And the pain you feel’s a different kind of pain
I’m going home
Back to the place where I belong
And where your love has always been enough for me
I’m not running from
No, I think you got me all wrong
I don’t regret this life I chose for me
But these places and these faces are getting old
So I’m going home
Well I’m going home
My daughter upon arrival at Sibu airport yesterday
The miles are getting longer, it seems
The closer I get to you
I’ve not always been the best man or friend for you
But your love remains true
And I don’t know why
You always seem to give me another try
So I’m going home
Back to the place where I belong
And where your love has always been enough for me
I’m not running from.
No, I think you got me all wrong
I don’t regret this life I chose for me
But these places and these faces are getting old
Ruby Restaurant’s claypot fish
Be careful what you wish for
‘Cause you just might get it all
You just might get it all
And then some you don’t want
Be careful what you wish for
‘Cause you just might get it all
You just might get it all, yeah
Ruby Restaurant’s calamari salad
Oh, well I’m going home
Back to the place where I belong
And where your love has always been enough for me
I’m not running from
No, I think you got me all wrong
I don’t regret this life I chose for me
But these places and these faces are getting old
Ruby Restaurant’s Thai-style midin
I said, these places and these faces are getting old
So, I’m going home

Ah. Now you’ll be busy and having lots of fun and laughter.
Yes, the empty nest isn’t empty anymore…temporarily! 🙂
Finally, it’s the holiday season which all students look forward to go home and rest rest and rest. Pa, your daughter looks slim and skinny. Good good!
Lost some 6 kg during the exam period! Good grief! I always ask her to take it easy, just pass enough…but she’s very serious in what she does. Now I have to feed and fatten her up… LOL!!!
awwww…. look at her face running towards her big ol’ daddy 🙂 so happy… i cant wait to go back tooo…….not that im homesick or anything..its just the food!!! :p
She’s always happy to be home…and sad when she has to leave again. Aiyor! Only miss the food, so kesian ur mum sayang u so much!
Oh My! Daddy’s little gal is all grown up now to a pretty lady! Did she get the bubbly personality of Dad STP as well?
I’d like to think she’s more like me in many ways. I just cooked chicken ang chiew soup and we had mee sua for lunch. She ate so much…wanted more meat and more soup, unlike before. In the past, only a token spoonful and a bit of soup and no meat! Hmm…good that they leave home for a while, will learn to appreciate all the good things at home! 😀
Oh no.. Don’t fatten her up la…
Why, son? You prefer thin skinny girls? Hahahahahaha!!!
You must be happy to see your lovey daughter back home. She has such a big smile in the pic. Must be happy to see his father too.
I sure am and she sure is too! What a relief! She’ll be around till January, so I won’t have to worry about her, being so far away and all that, till then.
ooopppss… sorry … her father. LOL
Yup, noted!
your princess is home..all grown up and a pretty lady..dont overfeed her lol..would love to know what you cook for her – post in n keep us updated.
No problem. She’ll grow thin again once she gets back there! Nothing like Sibu food lah…plus her papa’s cooking! LOL!!!
wah….so nice back already…
Yes, so nice! Watched Mamma Mia together (my 2nd time)…and that “Slipping thru my fingers” song still gives me goosepimples…and brings a tear to my eye! SOB!!!
Aren’t you the happy dad! Tell Mel, have a good break, and holiday.
She will!!! See tomorrow’s post…and this is just the beginning! Hahahahaha!
STP, good that your daughter is back to Sibu, sure you will be busy accompanying her and there should be lots of catching up to do. I got mixed up the song lyrics with the food, Ha Ha. Have a nice weekend, Bro.
That was the dinner we had last nite at Ruby Restaurant. RM32…but on the house as we’ve given the place a lot of publicity in our blogs until it got featured in Sunday Star – Star Metro. He said that we ate so little, so next time we go, it will be on the house again!! Gee! Isn’t that nice? LOL!!!
Lost 6kgs during exam period??
Wonder why I used to gain weight everytime before and during exams 😀
Dunno lah! I gain weight…all the time! LOL!!
Wah, next time on the house again ar? LOL! The boss is really grateful, isn’t he?
The sua liu lian is what chipmunk’s mom refers to as X.O. Durian because it got a bit of XO taste.
