On the road again…

Believe it or not, I’m going somewhere again today. I will have to take  a flight to Kuching and somebody will meet me at the airport to take me to Lundu…

…because tomorrow I will be giving a series of three talks to three groups of students from the district under some “program kemasyarakatan” organised by a “prestigious Malaysian company”. Hence, I do not believe that I will have to time to go and laze around at the beach…

or go and see the Rafflesia at the Gunung Gading National Park…

Anybody wants to join me there?…..Well, I will be in Kuching by Saturday evening and on Sunday morning, I will be flying back home. I guess all of you can expect some posts on my trip this weekend then and in the meantime, do find something to occupy yourselves and don’t be naughty now, ok? LOL!!!

  2. hmmmm… what is program kemasyarakatan??? geee… i cant even say it properly!

Masyarakat = society, so it’s some programme held to “give back to the society”. They do it every year…in some remote place! Btw, haven’t seen u around for sometime, zewt??? 😦

  3. Wai seh… zooming here, zooming there. Just like casper, suddenly appear out of no where and ‘boo !’ Haha

I think with my body shape I’d be like one of the other three…the fat heavy-looking one.

  4. haih… i miss lundu…

it used to be our annual pilgrimage to pandan beach…

    *sigh*

Good grief! It seems my blog is so depressing to you….the food…the places…all the things you miss so much! Hahahahahahaha!!!!

  5. Funny how zooming around doesn’t shrink you, at all! LOL!

Zooming = eating mah!!! Staying at home, I don’t eat so much! LOL!!!

  6. You wouldnt want to go to Gunung Gading. Like SMK Serian students later. See todays paper they ngamuk

Eyew! Haunted kah?…I didn’t get to see the beach either. Didn’t have the time.

  7. Wow, it seems like you are engaging in a lot of talk sessions. Will become famous one day?

No lah! Just do to help out when people ask! As for being famous, already lah…but mainly to those in education (English and English Lit)…and those who listened to TraxxFm… LOL!!!

  8. Wasai, still going round giving talks. still making money o..waha, rich celebrity lol! From your blog, i assume u r humorous. Your students must have enjoy listening your talks. Fokker 50, need hong eyew; Twin otter need what? something must be stronger than hong eyew ho..

    The money’s just so-so…but I enjoy going around, meeting people, eating…and it’s a welcome change from the usual routine…even before I retired…and the best part, somebody’s paying! I’m ok when I fly…no air-sickness problem!

  9. I just came back from KL and read that you are leaving tomorrow morning. Hope to meet up the next time you are in Kuching. Now I know how you look like, I can easily identify you.

I didn’t have time to meet anybody…reached Kuching around 7, checked in at hotel and went for dinner with relatives (in the dark by candlelight…due to the blackout)…and got back to the hotel 10-11 and straight to bed! Now I’m back home liao!

  10. Wow, you sure travel a lot, my friend. I wish I could do the same…

I used to travel more prior to my retirement as I was involved in many things for the department and the ministry, and I enjoyed it very much even though it meant more work, more commitments…No regrets!
