In one of my earlier posts – “I don’t love you”, in the Hubby’s letter to his ex-wife, he said, “My mother raised me not to say anything if I can’t say anything nice.” I bet everyone agrees that is the very essence of sheer politeness. Then, a few days ago, I received an email from my brother in NZ…and I’d like to share it with everybody.
THE TONGUE CAN BE YOUR WORST ENEMY!

Your words, your dreams and your thoughts
have the power to create conditions in your life.
What you speak about, you can bring about.
If you keep saying you can’t stand your job, you might lose your job.
If you keep saying you can’t stand your body, your body can become sick.
If you keep saying you can’t stand your car,
your car could be stolen or would just stop operating.
If you keep saying you’re broke, guess what? You’ll always be broke.
If you keep saying you can’t trust a man or a woman,
you will always find someone in your life who will hurt and betray you.
If you keep saying you can’t find a job, you will remain unemployed.
If you keep saying you can’t find someone to love you or believe in you,
your very thought will attract more experiences to confirm your beliefs.
If you keep talking about a divorce or break up in a relationship,
then you might end up with it.
Turn your thoughts and conversations around to be more positive
and power packed with faith, hope, love and action.
Don’t be afraid to believe that you can have what you want and deserve.
Watch your Thoughts, they become words.
Watch your Words, they become actions.
Watch your Actions, they become habits.
Watch your Habits, they become character.
Watch your Character, for it becomes your DESTINY.
The minute you settle for less than what you deserve,
you get even less than what you settle for.
Watch how your circumstances and situations begin to change
when you change the way you speak.
REMEMBER: Life is like melted butter…
Once things cool down, it can be reshaped!
Well, it certainly looks like what we say affects our lives more than we may realise. That’s quite a substantial bit of food for thought that’s worth pondering upon, don’t you think so?

This is all based on the Law of Attraction which became the premise of that best selling book titled The Secret by Rhonda Byrne.
Personally I feel it’s all common sense, keeping a balance in things like The Chinese yin and yang, or that “mind over matter” thingy or the “what goes around comes around” kind of stuff…and it seems so easy how some people put such things down on paper, and presto! A best seller!

Choices leads to consequences. Don’t procrastinate if u want to be productive! If u want to be productive then be a producer! So please be careful when u say you don’t want to look like STP…..you could….!!!
You would!!! Especially if you procrastinate all the time…and worse, if it’s in your genes!!! LOL!!!!

…..and you don’t bring me flowers…..anymore…..
Huh? This probably can be one of three things:
1 You are practising for next week’s American Idol
2 You don’t want flowers, or do you want flowers?…..
3 I don’t drop by your blog…anymore….. LOL!!! These few days, internet problem lah! All jammed with students applying for this and that and checking online, parents booking tickets for children to go for further studies…and some “want to shit baru look for jamban” people declaring their income tax! Just to upkeep my own blog, already a headache! My “justify” button has disappeared (I’m stuck at VISUAL but what I have is actually HTML…so no sign of those bars!), to reply one comment will take me at least 5 minutes… Haiz!!!

Why some of your posts having same name as a song example Don’t Speak- No Doubt and I don’t love you- MCR….
Btw.. I personally like it and it can help remind myself to follow the lesson of the post… hehehe 2 thumbs Up…
I’ve mentioned somewhere that all the titles for my posts, except for a couple of earlier ones, are all names of songs…Some may be so old so you dunno them!

I’ve read all these before, Mom said to me before.. but seems like I still need the reminder every now and then… Thanks for posting this up, you don’t know how much I needed this …
Welcome. Like Audrey Hepburn/Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady – the way she spoke (and conducted herself) made all the difference in her life!
